Light Chapel is a generational and vibrant church in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne.
We exist to worship God in spirit and truth, build and equip the people of God, and reach the world around us. Our prayer is that many would come to believe the good news of Jesus Christ and receive eternal life.

OUR VALUES
The values of the church are not new; we believe they are the foundation upon which the church has stood for many years and will continue to stand for many years to come.
The Gathering of God’s People (Hebrews 10:25)
The gathering of God’s people is the primary marker of His church. It is God’s context in which we grow spiritually and should not be neglected by His people.
The Cost of Discipleship (Romans 12:1)
Discipleship is a life fully submitted to Christ—it costs us everything. As disciples of Jesus, we give our time, gifts, and resources to serve Him and build His church. The cost is not a burden but a privilege, reflecting Christ’s love to the world around us.
The Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God. It is the source by which we understand God and the authority on which we build our lives and church.
Prayer (James 5:16)
Prayer is powerful, and when aligned with God’s will, it can change circumstances, situations, and lives. God’s house should be a house of prayer, and His people should be people of prayer.
People (Mark 12:31)
All people are created in the image of God. People have inherent value and worth, which is not earned by the works of their hands or distinguished by their intellect, but rather given by God.

Our mission as a church is simple: to do everything we can to WORSHIP GOD, BUILD PEOPLE, and REACH THE WORLD.
Worship God
Gathering regularly to worship and adore God as a community. Cultivating a culture where worship is central to everything we do.
Build People
Helping people renew their minds through scripture and live out God’s truth. Creating a community where care, encouragement, and discipleship lead to growth.
Reach The World
Bringing the Gospel and the worship of God to places where they are absent. Blessing and bettering the community around us through love and service.

Our dream drives us to pursue what may seem impossible. Whether through our big goals like church planting, mission work, community impact, or our everyday moments like prayer, Bible studies, or sharing our faith with a friend, we do it all with one simple desire.
OUR PASTORS
Mason & Jess
Our greatest joy is to lead a church built on the foundation of God’s Word and His presence. A place where God is glorified, disciples are made, and many come to know the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
We believe wholeheartedly this is His church, we are His people, and He is faithfully unfolding His plan here on earth. It is an incredible privilege to play even a small part in all He is doing in and through Light Chapel.
There is an old saying that we have grown fond of, and that is… “There is always room for one more at the table.” The same is true here at Light Chapel— there is always room for one more. You are invited, and we would love for you to join the Light Chapel family as we worship God in spirit and truth, build and equip people, and reach the world around us with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
